Happy New Year! Like many of you, 2022 is not exactly starting out as I’d thought it would, lol. The short of it is that while I’m bummed that the Story Time event I’d planned for next month is just better saved for a later date, I wanted to give those of us who’re vaxed, boosted, generally operating on the safe side and craving some community and connection (like I am!) to still get together in February.
The fabulous HoneyMoon Brewery owners Ayla and James, along with their sidekick bartender extraordinaire Bill, are generously welcoming us back to gather under their heaters on their outside patio for some good, old-fashion schmoozing. So, bundle up and feel free to bring a blanket (or purchase one from HoneyMooon) so you can be nice and cozy while you schmooze, sip your kombucha and munch on some delicious NY or Detroit style pizza from Cosmic Pie Pizza, which Chris Van Dyne will be serving up out of Betterday next door!
You all stay safe and healthy and we’ll see you at 6:30 PM on the 3rd, when you can grab a drink and order some food before schmoozing the evening away!
Oh, and for those of you who’d heard the whispers that the amazing Andrea Abedi and Hilary Kilpatric were set to share their story of the coming-soon The Kitchen Table, a commercial kitchen fully outfitted to serve as an affordable, accessible resource for caterers, food truck operators, private chefs, farmers and other aspiring food entrepreneurs at Jean Cocteau Cinema in February, just hang on, as they’re super psyched to share a few months down the line and you won’t wanna miss it.
